Hyderabad, India — open to new opportunities

Syed Yaseen builds the web end to end

Computer Science undergrad and full-stack developer. I design interfaces that feel considered and write APIs that stay boring under pressure — from JWT-secured Node services to AI-assisted React apps with real-time dashboards.

About

I like the parts of software most people skip — the edge case, the failing test, the extra half hour on something nobody will ever compliment.

Right now that means React and TypeScript for AgenticJobHunt's job-matching platform, plus the less glamorous half of the job — the 82 test cases I wrote that caught bugs early. On my own time I've built a subscription API with real auth and rate-limiting, and co-built a pregnancy-companion app with a four-person hackathon team.

An internship at IT Aspects taught me the rest — closing a Lighthouse audit's gaps one violation at a time until accessibility, performance and SEO all held up. None of it is flashy. That's kind of the point.

Experience

  1. Junior Developer · AgenticJobHunt

    Jul 2026 — Present

    Remote

    • Ship React/TypeScript frontend features for an AI-powered job-matching platform (300+ registered candidates, 380+ scored job matches) that turns Claude-scored postings into real-time alerts, live at agenticjobhunt.com.
    • Authored 82 functional test cases in Kiwi TCMS (TC-350–431) and caught 5 confirmed bugs pre-release, including a silent DB failure and an auth-config gap spanning two endpoints.
  2. Web Development Intern · IT Aspects

    Aug — Sep 2025

    Sydney, Australia · Remote

    • Rebuilt a multi-section marketing site (animated counters, scroll-reveal, mobile nav) in HTML5/CSS3/vanilla JavaScript from a reference design, then found and fixed ~25 layout, responsive, and interaction bugs.
    • Ran a Lighthouse audit and closed the gaps found, raising Accessibility 70 → 100, Best Practices 71 → 93, and SEO 91 → 100 by fixing invalid ARIA usage, heading-order violations, and missing focus states.
  3. Software Engineering Intern · Manac Infotech

    Jul — Aug 2025

    India

    • Built a Random Forest fraud classifier (scikit-learn) on 284K+ credit-card transactions (~0.17% fraud rate), using class weighting and randomized hyperparameter search to handle the extreme class imbalance.
    • Tuned model depth to raise fraud-detection precision from 22.6% to 93.9% (PR-AUC 0.64 → 0.83), validated with 5-fold cross-validation; built a Tkinter GUI for the end-to-end workflow.
